Hepburn Springs
Andrew and I went away a few weekends ago for his 24th birthday. We stayed just outside the spa town of Daylesford, in Hepburn Springs. Our accommodation was Krum Cottage, a self contained, utterly spacious home run by a couple. We arrived to a bottle of champagne, a black of lindt chocolate, and instructions to light our wood fire. Our two nights were very relaxing, although the space was almost too big for our liking. It was nice to have all the space in the world to plop our things down, but forgetting something down the lengthy flight of stairs at night was not very fun. The absolute highlight for us was the spa bath. It was the largest spa bath I have ever been in, with the best view out into the valley.
I would definitely recommend this cottage to others wanting to stay in the area, as the owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. There is bacon and eggs in the fridge for your first breakfast, enough tea to drink 5 cups a day, parking for 2 cars, and although you feel tranquil in your country cottage, you are a mere 10 minute drive from the town.
I cant wait for our next escape xx
