Decorating Mugs

This is a fun and cost friendly activity to keep yourself occupied or send as a gift to someone. All you need is a mug (any colour, just has to be porcelain) and some sharpie markers!

Draw your design on, leave over night (or a minimum of 4 hours), and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. 

Tip: Take your mug out carefully to not smudge the deigns - I learnt the hard way!

Uni Week: Stationary Holder

Rather than giving you a step-by-step DIY, this is more inspiration for your own projects. If you dont have access to power tools (and a helpful father), these wall hangings may be a little difficult. The simple method is to just collect jars and have your pens sitting on the desk in them, your mounting a wall self and and placing them there. At first I even had the idea of hanging jars from 3M hooks on the wall!

Here is a little DIY on flower vases. I think flowers are a must for spring time, but things can get exspensive very quickly if you buy fresh flowers ever week or so. For that reason I love me some fake flowers! I already had one vase I picked up on sale from Kmart, but decided to go flower crazy when I got a bunch for free from work. 

I hope you enjoy! 



You will need: 
-Fake flowers (15-25)
-Clean jars (I used jam jars I cleaned out myself)
-Wire cutters
