Products I Used Up: January

Here is a quick recap of all the products I used up this month, enjoy lovelies!

Avalon Organics a Moisturizing Conditioner: I hated this at first, but after giving it a scene go when I pulled it out front he depths of my cupboard, it rocked really well. It truly is organic, not just using the word to be apart of the tend, it does a good job at softening and deltangling my mane.

Schwarzkopf Daily Oil Elixir: This was an everyday product for me about a year ago, but it just doesn't gut it any more. It works okay at adding shine, but my dull, dry, frizzy hair needs an extreme oil.

White Glo Express Whitening: This is getting binned as I couldn't get it to work. The whitening formula comes with a mouldable mouth gard, one which girls me just wouldn't mould. I think strips are a lot easier than this method so I don't think it is worth the $30 price tag.

Chia Seed Watery Lotion: This is another products getting binned, it turned into a solid Ike I was away. The end product was far from watery, so I had no choice but to let it go.

Clump Crusher by Lashblast: This did as it claimed, never clumped, but I don't think it did anything amazing for my lashes. My fuel didn't stay too long, and my lashes weren't overly volumised. If this was on sale I may pick it up, but it would never be my first choice.

Maybelline Mega Plush: This held my curl a lot better, and did add some volume. Again nit the best mascara, but if you already have decent lashes this gives a good coating.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate: I really wanted to love this it leaves your skin so baby soft and clean.p, but it stung my face as though it was toxic acid. The pain was almost unbearable. I never left it in for the aprexomened time, and en after 1 second it lt like hell. I may try the sensitive versions in the future, because the results were outstanding. If you don't have sensitive skin I think this is 100% worth the rather hefty price tag.

Finally, the Naked Palette

Hello blog world!

So I did finally cave and buy the naked palette, but I was DEVISTATED; a mere 2 days after ordering it the naked 3 was released. I will be getting my hands on that (probably not until after I get back from Japan, as it is sold out) as soon as possible. The naked 3 has all the rosey tints my blue eyes love so much. I have taken a few snaps but probably wont do a full review, only because naked 3 is all everyone wants to hear about. Let me know if I should still do make up menu or something similar using this palette.

Do any of you plan on getting the Naked 3? Let me know!

I will do some reviews of these separately over the coming week or so :)

Make Up Collection #3: Lips

I only have one M.A.C lipstick oh shock! Once again up until about a year ago I only ever wore the one red lipstick I had. Just red. Now look at me!

That is now the end of this 3 part series. Do you have more make up then me (I will guess yes), or less? Let me know :)

Brand Blurb #6: Bourjois

Hello blog world!

This is a review on Bourjois. I do get most of my products from Priceline, but Bourjois can be found a bit cheaper on ASOS.com:

Make Up Collection #2: Eyes

I used to HATE eye shadow. I would only ever wear a beige/shimmer all over the lid and that was it, maybe some brown in the crease if I was feeling lucky.  It was mainly lashings of mascara (only on the top lashes) and a thick winged liner, if I was going crazy I would then line again with glitter liner. From 16-20 that was how it was done. Then I decided to like make up a bit more, and venture out into the world of eye shadow.

Eye shadow is now probably my favourite make up to use, I really feel like an artist when I am blending away with a million different brushes.

Enjoys the images lovelies!

Make Up Collection #1: Face

A few images to show whats going on in the face department of my make up collection. Up until about a year ago I only ever wore the same 3 pieces of make up, so the whole 'collecting' thing is very new to me. I like everything I own (mostly) and that is all that matters to me.

Boudoir Eyes

The Boudoir Eyes Palette by Too Faced is VERY cute. The packaging is probably half the reason I bought it. It comes with 9 shades, 5 of which are new, all of a pink/purple variety. Three shades are matte, four are satin and two are super glittery.

The palette also comes with a how-to-guide which can be useful for both beginners and those in a makeup rut.

I wont go into too much detail until I start using the palette, just thought I would throw some photos your way :)

Nars Palette: Adult Content

This is a brief look into the Limited Edition  'Adult Content' Palette By Nars. It comes with four cheek products, 2 blushes, a bronzer and a highlighter. The shades are as follows Zen (bronzer), Miss Liberty (highlighter) Desire (blush) and Deep Throat (blush). All swatches are below.

The packaging is a good size for travelling, however the small size of Zen means it only works as a contour not a bronzer. When I tried to stick my big fluffy bronzer blush in, half of Desire mixed in. I didn't really enjoy smearing bright pink on my forehead.

I love the highlight shade, and all are super pigmented.

I may do a further review when I use them more, but I just wanted to get this out before it sold out!

LUSH haul

Oh Lush how I love you so. Especially during the Christmas time. Those bath ballistics get me every time. This post is actually sponsored by my bf, aka he gave it all to me as a gift for our 3 years of being together. I know this is a beauty post but its seems weird that I have dated him for so long. Not bad weird, just odd as I have never been with anyone longer than 3 months.

Happy 3 years Andrew!

Ten Dollar Challenge #1: Stick Concealer

Hello all!

This string of posts is because although ten dollars may not seem like a lot of money to some of you, when you are still in school, or generally don't like parting with money, ten dollars can be a lot. Plus whether you think it is a little or a lot you should always be getting your moneys worth, hence the invention of this serious.

For this first comparison I will review 3 stick concealers all of which I found for under $10AUD. Now these are obviously going to be completely different in quality to these you would pay $30+, but if you just want something that can cover up dark circles and few spots without looking like little orange splotches all over your face, $10 is fairly reasonable.

I wanted to try these out because I normally not a fan of stick concealers  always opting for cream or liquid types. The 'challenge' part is that I will give my best recommendation out of the 3 (or how ever many I try). Lets get on with the mini reviews!

Note: Sorry for the two super blurry photos! I was going to retake them when I started editing on my computer, but with such a busy schedule I decided there was no point. This is all about the review, not my crappy photos :)

Products I've Used Up: September

Hello lovelies!

Here are all the products I have used up this month, with mini reviews for each :)

Soap and Glory Flake Away
This scrub smells AMAZING, however I am just too clumsy for exfoliater in a tub. Ever since I discovered that LUSH does body exfoliating bars (ex. Aqua Mirablis), I have given up on tub scrubs. Half of this ended up down the drain as I am just not good at scooping it onto my body haha. This would be lovely as a gift, or to use in the bath, so I still think it is a great product. However I will not be repurchasing it.
