I recently went a little Ikea crazy, so prepare for a week of updates. Firstly I was sick of how my shoes were stored. The shoe rack I had was too big for my size six shoes, and they constantly slipped through. I went to Ikea and bought the SKUBB shoe boxes and SKUBB hanging organizer, both of which are great value for money. The only downside to the shoe boxes is they limit the heel height which you can put in them. So I wont be getting more. I love my shoe organizer though, It really does make such a difference. I have just hung it on the back of my wardrobe door, which is not in the way at all. I have taken in an old bookshelf for the rest of shoes, which will hopefully get a face lift soon - so stay tuned!

Daiso Haul
A little while ago now I packed a delicious lunch for work, but forgot something pretty important, the fork to eat it with. Because of this I thought I would pop to Daiso to get one, and of course that turned into a mini haul. I could have gone crazy, but I only stepped in two isles, and avoided the make up section all together.
I picked up two lunch boxes, in my go to colour green, two cutlery sets (with a spoon, fork and chopsticks), and a spoon and fork with a hello kitty design. Excuse the dirty fork, that was the one I used on my lunch.
I also picked up some stickers, but you will see those in my Japan scrapbook.
I love Daiso, and know it will forever be my go to source for home wares, stickers and cheap food. Next I need to try their make up brushes, I have heard good things!'

Brand Blurb: Secret Blossom
I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Secret Blossom. I order a 3 months subscription as a gift for my mum, and so far so good. This is the first bunch (of 6) to come, and it really is beautiful. It was hand delivered, which I though was cute, and the hand written card was a nice touch.
If you think someone has everything - get them flowers, nothing makes you feel more special!

Japan Scrap Book: Update #1
Book: Now that the design process has started I have to actually say I regret this. But anyway, it is what it is. I though that using this vintage Japanese cook book would be a cool way to show off my photos, but I am left with very busy photos. We will see how it turns out though!
Sticky note it: After I have to book sorted, an before printing, I sticky note each page. That way I have an idea of how many photos to print, and how my book will be structured.
Envelopes: Finally, after printing my photos, I envelope them up. That way as I work though each page they stay sported.
More pictures coming soon :)

Dotti Haul
This is a quick post, as I managed to escape with just 3 items.
I bought this beautiful wide brimmed felt hat, which, although is a little bit big for my pea head, I love. I also nabbed A 3/4 length multi-stripe top, and these thick gingham print pants. A nice monochromatic outfit in the making. All I need to add is ankle boots and a chunk necklace!

Sticky9
I was lucky enough to win a competition on A Beautiful Mess about 2 weeks ago, the prize being free magnets from Sticky9. They sent me 9 free magnets, which included free shipping, as all their orders do. Sticky9, formerly StickyGram, is a instagram printing service, with their main item being the magnets.
The magnets come joined together, and you just have to gently break them apart, which is easily done. You are left with 9 personalized magnets, that are about 'life size' from an average phone. You can also order bigger sizes, which is a new feature, or have one large image as a puzzle.
All in all I am very pleased with my prize, and can tell I will be buying myself some more in the future.

Sukin Haul
I picked up these two products from Priceline the other day, and they are the first ever from Sukin I have tried. So far, with only one use each, I do like them. The shampoo left my hair really shiney and clean, however it did feel odd in the shower. It seemed to leave a sticky residue on my hair, although my hair looked fine once dry. The cream cleanser worked well, and smelt lovely.
I will continue to try out these products and let you know how I get on.

Sickness
I was feeling pretty rubbish.... ;)
I had the flu last week, and it totally screwed me over. I had to stay home from uni and work, meaning I got behind on everything. Once you are behind it is really difficult to catch back up, which is frustrating.
Once I get behind, I get stressed, and I am talking major stress. My response to stress? Stay at home, thus getting more behind.
It is a good system... not. But I am all about self-help and change, so writing this short post will hopefully encourage me to move forward! Yes I have a lot on my plate right now, but that is what being successful is all about!
How do you cope with post-sickness stress?

SPOILER ALERT: Lego Movie Review
The Lego movie has received so much hype, I swear every single person in the universe is going to see it. That being said, is it actually any good?
I did really enjoy most of this movie, it had comedy, action, a never ending catchy tune to listen to, but it went very weird toward the end.
I don't know why I thought there wouldn't be some sappy 'learn this moral in a few sappy scenes' parts, but I think they went a bit far.
I am sure they were almost trying to parody how ridiculous it was, but I pretty much hated the entire live action part of the film. I do not think it was necessary, it ruined the film. I also took a fictional world and tried to make it real-life, which did not work. If you are going to go live action, you can't then have a little Lego man bouncing around on a table.
What did you guys think of the film?

I have finally printed my Japan photos! It only took me 3 months....
I am writing this post to say I will do updates on how the scrapbook is coming along. I have made a promise to myself that I must get it done before I go to America. I can not have two trips back logged with photos!
I hope you guys don't mind seeing craft posts more frequently, I am and avid crafter at heart!

Staying Organised
Homework has been getting the better of me lately. I don't have that much to do, but combining it with two part jobs, this blog, cooking, cleaning, and trying to have a life, is pretty darn difficult.
Some people will hate this, but in order to get things done I literally need to plan my days off with an hourly tracker. I don't necessarily stick to it completely, but I can allocate how much time I can really afford to spend on my blog. I know I could post every third day, or even just once a week if I wanted to. But I have too many ideas to shared. Plus posting every day of the weeks makes me feel more accomplished. Even if no one ever truly reads this blog, at least it will slowly improve my writing, or prepare me for the tight and constant writing deadlines I will hopefully have with my future career.
How do you stay organised?

Mid-life Crisis at 22
So the last few weeks have been fairly crazy. I have been adjusting to going back to uni, working two jobs part time, and trying to fit in blogging, hobbies and spending time with people I love.
I tried to change jobs to solve my time/money problems, and although I was offered it I was unable to take the position.
I am slowing trying to convince myself that having money just isn't going to happen for me. Yes it will be sad not being able to buy all I want in America, but 'things' shouldn't be the only reason I want a holiday away.
I am trying my hardest to start appreciating the little things, because although I cant afford new clothes, makeup and fancy computers every month, I do have a pretty wonderful life.
